Abstract: NEEDS AND USES: INFORMATION ALLOWS DETERMINATION OF EMISSION CONFORMIT OF NEW AUTOMOBILES VIA SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT AUDITS (SEAS). ADDITIONALLY, 18 MANUFACTURERS VOLUNTARILY SUBMIT QA ASSEMBLY-LINE EMISSIONS DATA QUARTERLY (UTILIZED IN SELECTING CLASSES FOR SEAS). SEA ARE CONDUCTED THROUGHOUT THE PRODUCTION YEAR. SOME INFORMATION ALLOWS PREPARATION FOR SEAS WHILE THE REST ARE REPORTS OF ACTIVITIES UNDERTOO TO COMPLETE SEAS.
