Abstract: THE EIA-4, A MANDATORY TELEPHONE SURVEY, WILL BE USED TO COLLECT DATA ON A STANDBY BASIS TO ASSESS THE ADEQUACY OF COAL SUPPLIES AT COKING PLANTS DURING THE FORECASTED COAL MINERS' STRIKE. THE SURVEY WILL PRODUCE COAL AND COKE STOCKS, COAL RECEIPTS, COAL PRICES, COAL CONSUMPTION, OVER BANKING, AND EMPLOYMENT DATA.
