Abstract: SECTION 1312.22, CFR 21, REQUIRES INDIVIDUALS WHO EXPORT CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES LISTED IN SCHEDULES I AND II TO OBTAIN A PERMIT FROM THE DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION. THE INFORMATION IS USED BY THE DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINSTRATION FOR ISSUING EXPORT PERMITS AND EXERCISING CONTROL OVER THE EXPORTATION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES.
