Abstract: REPORTS COLLECT DEPOSIT DATA FROM DEPOSITORY INSTITUTIONS THAT HAVE TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS OR NONPERSONAL TIME DEPOSITS. THOSE REPORTS ARE USED TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL RESERVE REGULATION D ON RESERVE REQUIREMENTS AS AUTHORIZED BY THE MONETARY CONTROL ACT OF ACT OF 1980 AND TO PROVIDE INFORMATION FOR MONETARY POLICY PURPOSES. THESE DATA A USED TO CALCULATE RESERVE REQUIREMENTS AND TO ESTIMATE MONETARY AGGREGATES.
