Abstract: THE PURPOSE OF A STUDY OF HEART TRANSPLANTS IS TO DETERMINE THE SCHIENTIFIC, SOCIAL, ECONIMIC AND ETHICAL CONSEQUENCES OF MEDICARE COVERAGE FOR HEART TRANSPLANT. THE STUDY WILL BE USED AS A BASIS FOR ESTABLISHING MEDICARE REIMBURSEMENT POLICY.
