Abstract: ON JULY 1, 1981 ALL MOTOR CARRIERS SUBJECT TO 49 U.S.C. 10927 WHO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF 49 C.F.R. 387 WITH A SURETY BOND MUST USE REQUIRED BOND FORM. BOND FORMS CONTAIN LANGUAGE NECESSARY TO COMPLY WITH THE INTENT OF REGULATION THEREBY EXTENDING TO THE PUBLIC PROTECTION INTENDED BY CONGRESS.
