Abstract: SECTION 3 OF THE CHILD NUTRITION ACT OF 1966, (P.L. 89-642, AS AMENDED 42 U.S.C. 1773) AUTHORIZES THE SPECIAL MILK PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN. THE REGULATIONS SUBMITTED WITH THIS PROPOSAL SET FORTH: (A) POLICIES FOR T ADMINISTRATION OF THE PROGRAM BY STATE AGENCIES AND FOR ITS OPERATION BY LOCAL LEVEL ORGANIZATIONS, AND (B) RECORDKEEPING REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO DOCUMENT PROGRAM COMPLIANCE.
