Abstract: FORM HUD-92290 IS THE ONLY FORM USED BY NONPROFIT BORROWER CORPORATION PARTICIPATING IN HUD'S SECTION 202 PROGRAM FOR HOUSING THE ELDERLY AD HANDICAPPED TO MAKE AN APPLICATION FOR A SECTION 106(B) "SEED MONEY" LOAN. THIS FORM ENABLES SUCH BORROWERS TO RECEIVE CONSIDERATION FOR A NON-INTEREST FEDERAL LOAN OF UP TO $50,000. THE PROCEEDS OF THE LOAN MAY BE USED TO HELP DEFRAY THE BORROWER'S COST OF DEVELOPING SECTION 202 HOUSING PROJECTS.
