Abstract: GOVERNORS ARE REQUESTED TO DESCRIBE THEIR EXPECTED ACTIVITIES FOR THE 9 NEW 1982 BLOCK GRANTS. INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO PROVIDE FEDERAL AUDITORS EARLY INFORMATION ON WHICH TO MAKE AN ASSESSMENT OF THE ANTICIPATED ADEQUACY OF STATES AUDITS, AND THUS AVOID NEEDLESS URDENSOME SEPARATE REVIEWS OF STATES AUDIT ACTIVITIES.
