EPA IS CURRENTLY
PERFORMING A REGULATORY IMPACT ANALYSIS OF THE LAND DISPOSAL
REGULATIONS. OMB IS GRANTING APPROVAL SO THAT PERMITTING CAN
CONTINUE. OMB RETAINS THE OPTION OF REQUIRING A 3504(h) submission
FOR REVIEWING THE INFORMATION COLLECTION IN THE REGULATION. THE
PROCEDURES FOR REVIEW ARE OUTLINED IN THE UPCOMING RULES
IMPLEMENTING THE PAPERWORK REDUCTION ACT. EPA AND OMB SHOULD FOLLOW
THESE GUIDELINES IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE REVIEW.

ASSOCIATED WITH THE INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS (INCLUDING
GROUND-WATER PROTECTION INFORMATION) FOR EACH TYPE OF LAND DISPOSAL
FACILITY: SURFACE IMPOUNDMENTS, LANDFILLS, WASTE PILES AND LAND
TREATMENT FACILITIES.
