Abstract: A CARRYING FUTURES COMMISSION MERCHANT WOULD BE REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN A WRITTEN REPRESENTATION FROM THE ORIGINATING FUTURES COMMISSION MERCHAN IF IT ALLOWS A PERSON TRADING THROUGH AN OMNIBUS ACCOUNT TO MARGIN POSITIONS IN SUCH AN ACCOUNT AT A LOWER-THAN-NORMAL LEVEL BECAUSE A SPREAD OR HEDGE POSITION IS INVOLVED.
