Abstract: HCFA USES THE NCA REVIEW INFORMATION TO PRODUCE ERROR RATES BY STATES, REGIONS AND NATION. THE ERROR RATES ARE ANALYZED TO DETECT TRENDS AND CAUSES OF HIGH OR LOW ERROR RATES. RESULTS OF NCA REVIEWS ARE USED BY THE STATES TO PLAN CORRECTIVE ACTIONS TO ASSURE ACCURATE DETERMINATION AND TIMELY AND ADEQUATE NOTICE OF DENIALS AND TERMINATIONS.
