NSPS REQUIRES AFFECTED PETROLEUM
REFINERIES TO USE THE BEST DEMONSTRAT TECHNOLOGY (CONSIDERING COST
AND OTHER FACTORS) ON FLUID CATALYTIC CRACKING UNIT GENERATORS TO
REDUCE SULFUR OXIDE EMISSIONS. REFINERIES MUST KEEP RECORDS AND
REPORT TO EPA TO ENSURE ATTAINMENT OF THE STANDARD AND PROPER
OPERATION/MAINTENANCE OF THE EQUIPMENT.
