Abstract: PHA'S AND IHA'S MAY REQUEST EXCEPTIONS FROM HUD TO PERMIT FAMILIES WIT INCOMES GREATER THAN FIFTY PERCENT OF THE AREA MEDIAN TO RESIDE IN ASSISTED UNITS WHICH ARE AVAILABLE FOR OCCUPANCY ON OR AFTER OCTOBER 1, 1981.
