Abstract: PHA'S/IHA'S MAY REQUEST EXCEPTIONS FROM HUD TO PERMIT FAMILIES WITH INCOMES GREATER THAN 50 PERCENT OF THE AREA MEDIAN TO RESIDE IN ASSIST UNITS WHICH ARE AVAILABLE FOR OCCUPANCY ON OR AFTER 10/01/81. HUD WILL AUTHORIZE EXCEPTIONS TO THE EXTENT AVAILABLE ON THE BASIS OF THESE REQUESTS.
