Abstract: 24 CFR PART 58 REQUIRES THAT GRANT RECIPIENTS UNDER TITLE I CDBG AND SECTION 17 HOUSING PROGRAMS SUBMIT A FORMAL REQUEST FOR RELEASE OF FUN WHICH INCLUDES A CERTIFICATION OF COMPLIANCE WITH ENVIRONMENTAL LAWS. IN ADDITION GRANTEES MUST MAINTAIN PUBLIC RECORDS DOCUMENTING ITS COMPLIANCE WITH NEPA AND RELATED LAWS FOR EACH PARTICULAR PROJECT.
