Abstract: THIS SURVEY OF MINORITIES AND WOMEN WILL FULFILL A NATIONAL TRANSPORTATION POLICY PROVISION TO PROMOTE GREATER PARTICIPATION OF THESE GROUPS IN INTERSTATE TRANSPORTATION. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED TO PROVIDE CONGRESS AND THE SHIPPING PUBLIC WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE TYPE OF AUTHORITIES POSSESSED BY MINORITIES AND FEMALE-OWNED MOTOR CARRIERS.
