The proposed extension of clearance for the existing paperwork is approved. However, OMB will hold the respondent and burden hour estimates constant with levels in the current inventory. The OMB inventory shows fewer respondents than indicated in the supporting statement for the proposed extension, yet the Department is claiming there are now fewer burden hours due to fewer respondents than the last OMB review. OMB, of course, will accept an inventory correction worksheet that adequately explains the discrepancy.
