Abstract: TITLE II OF THE GARN-ST. GERMAIN DEPOSITORY INSTITUTIONS ACT OF 1982 (THE "NET WORTH CERTIFICATE ACT") AUTHORIZES THE FEDERAL SAVINGS & LOAN INSURANCE CORPORATION TO AUGMENT THE CAPITAL STRUCTURE OF SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATIONS THROUGH THE PURCHASE OF NET WORTH CERTIFICATES SUBJECT TO CERTAIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS. THIS APPLICATION AND ACCOMPANYING WORKSHEET FURNISH DATA REQUIRED TO ESTABLISH ELIGIBILITY FOR AND AMOUNT OF SUCH ASSISTANCE.
