Abstract: TITLE II OF THE GARN-ST. GERMAI DEPOSITORY INSTITUTIONS ACT OF 1982 (THE NET WORTH CERTIFICATE ACT) AUTHORIZES THE FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN INSURANCE CORPORATION TO AUGME THE CAPITAL STRUCTURE OF SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATIONS THROUGH THE PURCHASE OF NET WORTH CERTIFICATES SUBJECT TO CERTAIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS. THE APPLICATIONS AND ACCOMPANYING WORKSHEETS FURNISH DATA REQUIRED TO ESTABLISH ELIGIBILITY FOR THE AMOUNT OF SUCH ASSISTANCE.
