Abstract: THE REGULATIONS WITHIN PART 3000 AND 23100 OF TITLE 43 OF THE CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS CONTAIN PROCEDURES FOR OBTAINING A LEASE TO EXPLOR FOR, DEVELOP AND PRODUCE OIL AND GAS RESOURCES ON FEDERAL LANDS. THE BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT NEEDS THE INFORMATION TO PROPERLY IMPLEMENT THE PROCEDURES FOR ISSUING OIL AND GAS LEASES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW.
