Abstract: TO ENABLE THE SECRETARY OF THE INTERIOR TO MEET THE RESPONSIBILITIES MANDATED BY THE NATIONAL MINING AND MINERALS POLICY ACT OF 1970 (P.L. 91-631) TO BE INFORMED OF AND TO INFORM THE CONGRESS OF DEVELOPMENT IN THE MINERALS INDUSTRIES INCLUDING POTENTIAL CRISES THEREIN.
