Abstract: RULE 17AC2-2 REQUIRES TRANSFER AGENTS (WHO ARE NOT EXEMPT) TO FILE AN ANNUAL REPORT OF THEIR ACTIVITIES WITH THE APPROPRIATE REGULATORY AGENCY. FORM TA-2 IS TO BE USED BY REGISTERED TRANSFER AGENTS FOR FILING THE ANNUAL REPORT WITH THE APPROPRIATE REGULATORY AGENCY (SEC, FDIC, COMPTROLLER OF THE CURRENCY OR BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM). THIS INFORMATION WILL ASSIST IN THE COMMISSION'S EXAMINATION PROGRAM AND WILL ALSO PROVIDE DATA TO SUPPORT
