Abstract: THE DATA FROM EEO AND AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PLANS WILL BE UTILIZED BY UMT IN MONITORING THE TRANSIT PROPERTIES' COMPLIANCE WITH EEO LAWS, RULES, REGULATIONS, AND STATUTES. THE PURPOSE OF THIS MONITORING/ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITY ENSURES THAT MINORITIES/WOMEN HAVE EQUITABLE ACCESS TO EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND THAT RECIPIENTS OF FEDERAL FUNDS DO NOT DISCRIMINATE AGAINST EMPLOYEES OR APPLICANTS FOR EMPLOYMENT BECAUSE OF RACE, COLOR, RELIGION, SEX, OR NATIONAL ORIGIN.
