Abstract: SCHOOL FOOD AUTHORITIES (PUBLIC AND PRIVATE), CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS, CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES, CHILD CARE INSTITUTIONS, SUMMER CAMPS, NUTRITION PROGRAMS FOR THE ELDERLY AND OTHER APPROVED OUTLETS ARE ABLE TO PURCHASE FURTHER PROCESSED FOOD PRODUCTS AT A SUBSTANTIAL SAVINGS. PROCESSORS RECEIVE USDA DONATED FOOD AT NO COST AND MANUFACTURE AND PRODUCTS WHICH ARE DISCOUNTED BY THE VALUE OF THE DONATED FOOD CONTAIN IN THEM.
