Abstract: SCREENING FOR OCCULT BLOOD IN THE STOOL HAS BEEN RECOMMENDED BY MANY HEALTH PROFESSIONALS AS A METHOD FOR EARLY DETECTION OF COLORECTAL CANCER. THE FOLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTED IN THIS STUDY IS NECESSARY TO DETERMINE WHETHER SUCH SCREENING IS RELIABLE AND DECREASES MORTALITY FROM COLORECTAL CANCER.
