Abstract: CARGO TANK MARKINGS AND CERTIFICATIONS ARE USED BY MANUFACTURERS, PURCHASERS, AND THE RSPA TO VERIFY THAT TANKS HAVE BEEN CONSTRUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEPARTMENT'S MANUFACTURING SPECIFICATIONS, TO SHOW LOCATION OF VARIOUS VALVES, SAFETY RELIEF DEVICES, ETC., TO INSURE OPERATIONAL SAFETY.
