Abstract: THE 1986 AHS-MS IS A LONGITUDINAL STUDY THAT COLLECTS CURRENT INFORMATION ON THE QUALITY, AVAILABILITY, AND COST OF HOUSING IN ELEVEN SELECTED METROPOLITAN AREAS. IT ALSO PROVIDES INFORMATION ON DEMOGRAPHIC AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS OF THE OCCUPANTS.
