Abstract: THE OFFICE OF PRIVATE SECTOR PROGRAMS DEVELOPS COOPERATIVE PROJECTS WI PRIVATE SECTOR INSTITUTIONS TO SUPPORT, COMPLEMENT AND ENHANCE THE GOA AND OBJECTIVES OF USIA. THESE PROJECTS, WHICH EMPHASIZE EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL EXCHANGES, ARE INTENDED TO PROMOTE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE UNITED STATES BETWEEN AMERICANS AND CITIZENS OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES.
