Abstract: THE AIR AND ENERGY RESEARCH LABORATORY MAY REQUIRE CONTRACTORS TO REPORT MONTHLY, ALONG WITH A WORK PLAN, THE FISCAL STATUS OF THEIR CONTRACTS. THESE REPORTS ENABLE PROJECT OFFICERS TO MONITOR CONTRACTS CLOSELY IN ORDER TO PREDICT WHETHER EXPENSES WILL EXCEED THE VALUE OF THE CONTRACT, AND TO TAKE CORRECTIVE ACTION WHERE NECESSARY.
