Abstract: ALL TOBACCO OFFERED FOR IMPORTATION INTO THE UNITED STATES MUST BE INSPECTED EXCEPT FOR CIGAR AND ORIENTAL TOBACCO WHICH MUST BE CERTIFIE BY THE IMPORTER TO ITS INTENDED USE. THE INFORMATION CONTAINED ON FOR AND CERTIFICATION LETTERS WILL BE USED TO MONITOR COMPLIANCE BY TOBACC DEALERS, MANUFACTURERS, AND IMPORTERS WITH APPLICABLE REGULATIONS.
