Agricultural In-Season Wage Report" is approved through August 1987
only. The next request for OMB approval should be accompanied by a
full description of the statistical methodologies and sampling
procedures used to establish the prevailing wage rates for the H-2
worker program. This description should include a discussion of the
Federal role in establishing the wage rates, any problems that DOL
has experienced with the current procedure, and the assurances tha
the wage rates established accurately reflect market wages.

INTRASTATE AND INTERSTATE WORKERS. THE RATES COVER AGRICULTURAL AND
LOGGING JOBS. MIGRANT AND LOCAL SEASONAL FARMWORKERS ARE HIRED FOR
THESE JOBS.
