Abstract: SECTION 8(C) OF TSCA REQUIRES MANUFACTURERS AND PROCESSORS TO KEEP RECORDS OF SIGNIFICANT ADVERSE REACTIONS TO HUMAN HEALTH OR THE ENVIRONMENT ALLEGED TO HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY A CHEMICAL SUBSTANCE OR MIXTURE. EPA MAY ALSO REQUIRE REPORTING FOR SPECIFIC CHEMICALS IN ORDER TO IDENTIFY PREVIOUSLY UNRECOGNIZED PATTERN OF ADVERSE EFFECTS A TO CORROBORATE ADVERSE REACTION INFORMATION BEING INVESTIGATED.
