Abstract: THIS REGULATION PRESCRIBES LIMITATIONS ON THE PAYMENT OF DIVIDENDS BY NATIONAL BANKS IN RELATION TO THE BANK'S CAPITAL AND EARNINGS POSITION AND REQUIRES APPROVAL FROM THE COMPTROLLER OF THE CURRENCY FOR DIVIDEND PAYMENTS IN EXCESS OF STATUTORY LIMITATIONS.
