WE HAVE APPROVED
THE PROPOSED REVISIONS TO THE PAPERWORK REQUIREMENTS AT 30 CFR PART
15 THROUGH MAY 1987, BY WHICH TIME THE ENTIRE PACKAGE FOR ALL
REPORTING REQUIREMENTS FOR PERMISSIBLE EQUIPMENT TESTING MUST BE
RE-APPROVED BY OMB. THE PAPERWORK REDUCTION ACT SUBMISSION FOR THE
FINAL 30 CFR PART 15 REGULATION SHALL QUANTIFY ANY CHANGES IN
PAPERWORK BURDEN ATTRIBUTABLE TO THE FINAL RULE. IN ADDITION, THE
SUBMISSION FOR THE FINAL RULE SHALL INCLUDE A REQUEST FOR OMB
APPROVAL OF THE PAPERWORK REQUIREMENT IN PARAGRAPH 15.7(B), QUALITY
ASSURANCE, WHICH IS OMITTED FROM THIS REQUEST FOR APPROVAL.

CONTAIN PROCEDURES BY WHICH MANUFACTURERS MAY APPLY FOR, AND HAVE
EQUIPMENT APPROVED AS PERMISSIBLE FOR USE IN MINES.
