Abstract: FORM DISP-16 IS USED IN ANY CASE WHERE THERE IS REASON TO BELIEVE THAT AN INDIVIDUAL HAS VIOLATED THE CRIMINAL STATUTES OF THE U.S. WITH RESPECT TO USE OF A U.S. PASSPORT. IT ALSO IS USED IN CONNECTION WITH DETERMINING THE NATIONALITY OF A PERSON BORN IN THE U.S. WHO HAS APPLIED FOR A U.S. PASSPORT.
