In accordance
with the Paperwork Reduction Act and 5 CFR 1320.4(3) thi request is
disapproved because the Commission has not demonstrated that the
collection of information has practical utility. OMB recommends
that the ITC, in consultation with the USTR explore less burdensome
ways of meeting the requirements of 19 USC 1202.

PURSUANT TO SECTION 332 OF THE TARIFF
ACT OF 1930, THE USITC IS REQUIRED TO ANNUALLY PROVIDE CURRENT
STATISTICAL INFORMATION ON THE BROOM INDUSTRY TO THE PRESIDENT.
THESE DATA ARE TO MONITOR THE IMPACT OF IMPORTS ON THE INDUSTRY
AND/OR TO ASSESS TARIFF RELIEF PREVIOUSLY GRANTED TO BROOM
PRODUCERS AS A RESULT OF E.O. 11377.
