Abstract: HUD-274 IS USED BY HUD TO REQUEST RECIPIENTS OF LOAND AND GRANT FUNDS, BEING FUNDED BY REQUISITION, TO DESIGNATE A DEPOSITARY THAT THEY WISH TO RECEIVE FUNDS IN CONNECTION WITH HUD PROGRAMS. THIS IS AN INTERNAL CONTROL INSTITUTED TO SAFEGUARD FEDERAL FUNDS AS WELL AS PROVIDING SERVICE TO RECIPIENTS.
