Abstract: RULE 15B6-1(A) PROVIDES THAT A NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL FROM REGISTRATION AS A BROKER-DEALER IS TO BE FILED ON FORM BDW. FORM BDW IS NEEDED BY THE COMMISSION TO DETERMINE WHETHER IT IS IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST TO PERMIT A BROKER-DEALER TO WITHDRAW.
