Before applying
for extension of this clearance, EPA must reexamine the need for
weekly inspections of pumps under section 61.242-2(d)(4). This
requirement appears unnecessary given the requirement for an
audible alarm on the same systems under section 61.242-2(d)(5)(i).
In this review EPA should present data from the leak detection
reports required under this ICR to show the practical utility of
this requirement.
