Abstract: RATIOS OF HOURS AT WORK TO HOURS PAID ARE NEEDED TO CORRECTLY MEASURE LABOR INPUT FOR PRODUCTIVITY STATISTICS. THIS INFORMATION WILL BE USED IN THE MAJOR SECTOR LABOR AND MULTIFACTOR PRODUCTIVITY MEASURES PUBLISHED BY BLS ANNUALLY AND QUARTERLY.
