Terms of Clearance: Approval is contingent upon our understanding that the SF 1443 requires a contractor to either have paid its subcontractor costs or that payment will be made, by the contractor, when due, in the ordinary course of business. The date entered in "Section II - Statement of Costs Under This Contract Through _______" is the date by which incurred costs have been accumulated for inclusion in the progress payment request, as explained in the instructions on the reverse of the form. In cases where such incurred costs are actually paid by the "Date of Request," they may be included in the request for progress payment.
