Abstract: SHIPPING PAPERS ARE USED IN TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS TO IDENTIFY THE PRESENCE OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS, THEIR QUANTITY, AND IDENTIFICATION. THIS INFORMATION IS USED TO PROMOTE TRANSPORTATION SAFETY BY ASSURING THAT CARRIERS ARE PROPERLY LOADED AND IDENTIFIES CARGO TO EMERGENCY PERSONNEL IN CASE OF AN INCIDENT.
