Abstract: EXPORTERS USE THE SHIPPER'S EXPORT DECLARATION F IN-TRANSIT GOODS TO REPORT SHIPMENTS OF MERCHANDISE FROM ONE FOREIGN COUNTRY TO ANOTHER THROUGH THE UNITED STATES. THIS FORM SERVES AS THE BASIC SOURCE DOCUMENT FROM WHICH THE BUREAU OF THE CENSUS COMPLILES THE U.S. STATISTICS ON OUTBOUND IN-TRANSIT SHIPMENTS.
