based on the biennial report. OIRA also anticipates that the
frequency of this collection can be reduced after the first few
years of reporting.

STATES WILL PROVIDE DATA AND PROGRAM
INFORMATION BIENNALLY TO ASSURE E THAT THEY HAVE AN ADEQUATE
UNDERSTANDING OF (1) THEIR CURRENT HAZARDOU WASTE TREATMENT AND
DISPOSAL SYSTEM, (2) FUTURE CAPACITY NEEDS, AND (3) REALISTIC PLANS
FOR MEETING LONG-TERM NEEDS. EPA WILL USE INFORMATION TO EVALUATE
ADEQUACY OF SARA 104(K) ASSURANCES.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
