Abstract: THE PRODUCTION ACCOUNTING AND AUDITING SYSTEM IS A COMPUTER SYSTEM TRACKING PRODUCTION AND DISPOSITION OF MINERALS FROM FEDERAL AND INDIAN LANDS. IT IS USED IN CONJUNCTION WIT AUDITING AND FINANCIAL SYSTEM REPORTS OF MINERAL PAYMENTS AND SALES, IN ORDER TO VERIFY THAT PROPER ROYALTIES ARE RECEIVED FROM MINERAL LEASE OPERATORS.
