Abstract: THIS REGULATION SETS OUT THE RIGHTS OF THE GOVERNMENT AND ORGANIZATIONS CONTRACTING WITH THE GOVERNMENT TO DATA DEVELOPED UNDER FEDERAL CONTRACTS AND DATA DEVELOPE AT PRIVATE EXPENSE. THIS WILL FACILITATE THE USE BY THE PUBLIC OF SUC DATA, AND PROMOTE RESEARCH, BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE THROUGH A UNIFORM POLICY.
