Abstract: THE CALL-COUNT SURVEY IS CONDUCTED TO ANNUALLY ASSESS THE POPULATION STATU OF THE MOURNING DOVE, AN IMPORTANT MIGRATORY GAME BIRD. THE SURVEY DA ARE ANALYZED AND THE RESULTING ASSESSMENT OF THE POPULATION STATUS SERVES TO GUIDE THE ANNUAL PROMULGATION OF REGULATIONS FOR HUNTING THE SPECIES.
