Abstract: S UNDERWRITING PRACTICES' AN ESSENTIAL ELEMENT OF THE COINSURANCE PROGRAM IS HUD'S RESPONSIBLITY TO MONITOR LENDERS TO ASSURE ADHERENCE AND COMPLIANCE TO STATUTORY AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS. THE AUTOMATED DATA COLLECTION SYSTEMS WILL ENABLE HUD TO EVALUATE AND REVIEW ON AN ON-GOING BASIS LENDER'S UNDERWRITING PRACTICES AND SUBSEQUENT PROJECT PERFORMANCE.
