information is approved through December 1991. APHIS should submit
to OMB the National Summary report, the end product of this
collection, as it is published. Also, APHIS should conduct and
submit to OMB before December 1991, a report evaluating its success
in reaching the survey's stated goals, to generate scientifically
and statistically reliable information on the prevalence and
economic importance of livestock diseases. Such a report should
include an analysis of the adequacy of the survey's structure and
design.
